Gustavo Vargas, Esq., is committed to the exclusive practice of immigration and nationality law. He and his staff provide the highest quality representation, combining skill, knowledge and creativity.
Since opening his office in Orlando, Florida, Mr. Vargas has acquired extensive experience representing hundreds of individuals before the INS, the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals and the middle district court. In fact, Mr. Vargas is one of a select of group of immigration attorneys who have successfully litigated in the federal courts and has had the honor of presenting oral arguments to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Vargas is one of only forty-seven lawyers to be Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Florida Bar. As a Board Certified lawyer, Mr. Vargas has been recognized by the Florida Bar and his peers as a specialist maintaining the highest level of knowledge, and professional and ethical standards.
He was born in Lima, Peru and emigrated to the United States as a child. While working full-time in real estate development, he graduated from the Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing (with honors) and then earned an MBA (again with honors) before discovering his passion for the law. He then attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, where he was active in immigrant outreach and legal defense programs. In 1992, he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree.
After graduation, Mr. Vargas practiced as counsel and advisor for the federal government. In 1998, he opened his practice in Orlando, Florida.
